Yesterday i.e, 21.03.2016, Our CS Sri Amit Khan along with Sri Animesh Mitra (CS BSNLEU), Sri Samar Adhikari and Sri Pradip Mandi met GM HR and discussed our pending issues.

After that SNATTAWB and BSNLEU WBTC members met together and discussed the issues related to the forthcoming membership verification.

Another meeting is scheduled to be held on next Saturday 26.03.2016, between WBTC Circle administration and SNATTAWB, regarding JTO LICE vacancy related issues.

               1) Vacancy anomaly: we demand that the vacancy is to be revised as per our calculation… we demand to see the procedure by which vacancy was declared…it is assued that detailing of the calculation will be shown to clarify the issue…

               2)  DNI issue: the anomaly is being considered.. we express our demand.. GM(HR) assured to take action to settle the anomaly…

               3)  Eligibility issue: an order may be issued for those who are not eligible for PVR issue.for the case of irregularity of induction training schedule, they may apply through proper channel…

              4)   ESM case: GM HR confirmed that they are being provisionally posted with an undertaking subject to the out come of the court…

UPDATION OF EDUCATION QUALIFICATION IN SERVICE RECORD OF EX-SERVICEMEN TTAS

Friends, from CHQ side we are ensuring every batch of LICE aspirants that we will take care of every examination. Management has agreed for three mock tests for online exam pattern. We are also trying to make the question papers to be best fitted for all batches. We are putting all efforts to make the whole LICE process smoother. Also we must say that, we are expecting no more hurdles in the path of our dream to be a JTO. So, it is a request to the entire TTA family not to put any problems further. If anyone have some view or suggestion regarding the JTO LICE issue, please feel free to contact SNATTA CHQ. We will discuss the issue within our self and definitely will find the way-out. But please do not take decisions on your own. We are committed for the betterment of the whole TTA cadre.

2) The TTAs suffering for delay in their PVR Report:  it is said before GM(HR) that some TTAs after successful completion of induction training were  not allowed to join in service due to delay in PVR. But it is absolutely a wrong procedure…by which the date of joining and date of increment are differing and they are facing monitory and seniority loss.  We demand the increment will be calculated as the date of training  irrespective PVR issue. GM(HR&A) heard the case and asked for a detail representation. Hence the members who  are suffering pl send the detail to mail of snattawb.cs@gmail.com. Immediately through respective DS. Before JTO lice all such issues to be solved.

3) some individual issues. Etc..we got a good response…now we need to do the further action….

Intollerable incident occured with our ACS SNATTA CTD Sri Soumya Acharya as he was arrested today by Bally GRP for conducting roadshow and SWAS Program at Uttarpara Station.He was been instructed by his SDE to conduct the roadshow.

BSNL sets aside Rs. 7,700 as capex this year:17.11.2015

New Delhi, Nov 17:   
 

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd has set aside Rs. 7,700 crore as capital expenditure in 2015-16 and will spend this on Next Generation Network (NGN), mobile phase 7 expansion, wi-fi, among others, its CMD Anupam Shrivastava has said.

The capital expenditure last year was Rs. 3,300 crore, he said.

“BSNL is on the path of revival. July onwards, additional customers have doubled. Mobile network portability has become positive in BSNL’s favour which means it has seen a net gain in customers via MNP,” Shrivastava said at a press conference here.

In the last two years, 25,000 additional mobile towers have been set up and now BSNL has over a lakh towers in the country.

“There has been a 42 per cent rise in revenue from tower business in 2014-15. We plan to set up a subsidiary tower company to monetise our tower assets. While we have the Cabinet nod, we are waiting for inter-ministerial committee recommendations for this,” he said.

The company plans to focus on data to drive growth and is enhancing mobile network data capacity to improve coverage and quality of service. “The per day throughput in mobile has crossed 250 terabytes. This used to be 70 terabytes in 2013,” Shrivastava said.

BSNL’s income from services has increased by 4.16 per cent to Rs. 27,242 crore in 2014-15 compared to the previous year.

“This is a five-year high for the company,” he said, adding that while the revenue has gone up, administrative expenses have come down on account of falling employee strength due to retirements.

PTI adds: 

BSNL today reported an operating profit of Rs. 672 crore for the financial year 2015 on the back of fall in administrative costs and jump in revenues.

The company had posted an operating loss of Rs. 691 crore in the previous fiscal.
