BSNL records highest addition in wireless subscriber base during April, says TRAI.

According to the latest data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the total subscriber base in the country increased from 1,033 million as of March 2016 to 1,034 million as of April 2016 while the number of urban subscribers declined form 606.69 million to 607.21 million during the period, total rural subscribers increased from 449.17 million to 452.08 million.

Notably, state-run operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) recorded the highest addition in the number of wireless users during April 2016 at 1.1 million BSNL was followed by Airtel and Aircel which added 978.230 and 572,869 wireless users, respectively. However, private players continued to hold the majority portion of the wireless market with a share of 91.2 per cent.

Meanwhile, the number of broadband subscribers increased from 149.75 million as of March 2016 to 151.09 million as of April 2016

3rd PRC formed

The government has formed the 3rd Pay Revision Committee (PRC) for the revision of pay scales, perquisites, etc., of the Board Level and Below Board level officers and Non-Unionised supervisors. Justice Satish Chandra (Retd.) is the Chairman. The PRC will submit it's report within 6 months and the wage revision will be implemented from 01.01.2017.

09.06.2016:Most telcos fail Trai’s call-drop test in Hyderabad

The telecom regulator has found most telecom operators—barring Vodafone India and Telenor India in 2G networks and BSNL in 3G networks—failing to meet the benchmark for dropped calls in Hyderabad.

Result is in final stage.Due to some technical dufficulties,the publication of result is delaying.But do not worry,it will come out soon.We are in constant touch with management. Keep patience.

BSNL’s revenue for the financial year 2015-16 is expected to be around Rs.30,000 crore. It’s Operational Profit will be around Rs.2,000 crore. This information was given by the CMD BSNL in the meeting with the Core Committee, held today. It is noteworthy that BSNL’s Operational Profit was only Rs.672 crore in the financial year 2014-15

As we have told,we are committed to conduct all the LICEs for all our brothers and sisters.The first one has gone,two more to come.As we know that the LICE was put on hold in BIHAR Circle,We are more committed to conduct the held examination as soon as possible and request once again to all not to go to court.We are very much shocked enough to learn that our long aspiring JTO LICE exam is happeing on earth and some people(we don't know their kind) is doing court case to create further litigations and hurdles!These activities not only destroying the hope SNATTA is trying to materialse but also putting thousands of TTAs carrer in jeopardy.Instead of giving representation to court,if they gave their representaion to SNATTA, then CHQ can try solve the hurdles.

Well,lets work on the remaining two examinations and specially the halted exam of BIHAR Cirlce.
