KANPUR: The BSNL customers can now view their call details on internet. The BSNL authorities will be uploading call details of around 1.50 lakh landline customers on the net. Customers however will have to create an ID to view the details.
The decision would help subscribers to check their entire billing details on the net and would be saved from the trouble of running to BSNL office for the same.
Apart from viewing the call details, the customers will also be able to see their billing information and recent schemes and plans offered by BSNL. The customers simply need to login into BSNL website (www.upe.bsnl.co.in) to get the details.
The first page of the website will be have a blue coloured self-care portal. By clicking on the icon, the customers will get a registration form. The users will be asked for their ID on the portal. By logging-in the ID users will get registered to the system of online call viewing. The customers will get the call and billing details every time when he/she will login to his/her respective ID.
"Every basic phone bill has a unique ID printed on the right side of the bill. After providing the registration ID, the users will be asked for their email IDs. The details like password and registration will be send to the email ID. The customers can use this ID and password to see the call and billing details anytime," said SK Singh, PRO, BSNL.
He added that the portal would take around 48 hours to verify the ID. Hence, the customers were requested to login after 48 hours of the registration. The call detail would be available for the recent month. The detail can be downloaded and saved as well.
