Procedure for Activation of BSNL Missed Call Alert(MCA) Service
BSNL makes the activation of this service in an easy manner by following
a simple procedure to setup mobile for Missed Call Alert(MCA). The
procedure is very very simple, i.e., Divert all Voice Calls to the
number +9117010 when unavailable or Out of reach.
How to Divert Voice Calls for BSNL Missed Call Alerts
- Go to Settings-> Call settings-> Call divert/Call Forward.(It may differ from phone to phone but the steps are almost same).
- Now Mobile will list conditions when to divert Voice Calls.
- Divert/Forward ->When Unreachable
- Type the number +9117010
- Save
In some BSNL Circles, customer can activate the Missed Call Alert(MCA) Service by just dialing **62*+9117010#
After the completion of MCA activation process, switch off the mobile and check the status by dialing the MCA number. If any user calls to MCA activated mobile number, the calls will automatically be diverted to 17010 when mobile is Switched Off or Out of Coverage Area, after the reach into coverage area or switch the phone on, BSNL sends the short messages of all the missed calls logged
Procedure for De-Activation of BSNL Missed Call Alert Service(MCA)
- Go to Settings-> Call settings-> Call divert/Call Forward
- Select Divert/Forward ->When Unreachable
- Delete the number +9117010
- Save
By activation of BSNL Missed Call Alert (MCA) Service, BSNL Mobile user
never miss any calls even in out of coverage / switch off / mobile runs
