18-06-2015: PM Narendra Modi meets Ravi Shankar Prasad on BSNL revival.....media news

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook a meeting with Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad to deliberate on the revival strategy of state-run BSNL a couple of days back. 

According to sources, the meeting, which took place on Monday, went on for about 45 minutes and a presentation was given to the Prime Minister about the initiatives being taken by BSNL for its revival strategy. 

Apart from Prasad, senior officials of DoT and BSNL were also present in the meeting.  .. 

The PM wanted a complete presentation of the entire working of BSNL and the legacy issues faced by the company were outlined to him, a source said. 

Mr Modi was also briefed about the steps being taken to improve the profitability of the company, the source added. 

Prasad had earlier said that the government was committed to reviving BSNL and a number of initiatives are in the pipeline to bring the PSU back as a market leader.

15-06-2015: Circle executive meeting...regarding

Yesterday on 14-06-2015 at 9 pm   Circle Executive committee  meeting was successfully done with presence of all the members of the committee..a very good discussion held regarding the agendas taken…we appreciate the enthusiasm of the members…the following decision taken:

1) A teleconference is to be arranged between Circle Executive members and All India President, GS, DGS and Treasurer…on Saturday, 20^th june, 2015 at 9 pm sharp…

2) A post named Webadmin is created in Circle executive committee and sri Ratul Acharjee of Siliguri, Webadmin is included in Cirle Executive committee..

3) The Committees which was formed for various purpose is to be activated…

5) Rest part of SSA body to be formed         as early as possible…as such the responsibility will be distributed so soon.

6) rest agendas which are not discussed due to shortage of time will be discussed in next meeting

The Circle executive body meeting will be held on 14th June…all the CEC members are requested to attend the meeting…..
