28-06-2013: regarding..fitment case....in our Circle only fewSC/ST candidates has send the application to SC/ST Commission regarding wage loss. although the instruction was given 6 month back...asking any more on what leaders are doing.you first are being asked to do your job....some people of mangalore did it and now SC/ST commission asked CGM to solve.. in such way if all circle made it, then our demand will have more weigtage... it is you to understood.. only facebook comments/mail cant solve ur problem...try to do something....

As Per Request of SNATTACHQ BSNL Co. Issued direction for handling cases filed against JTO LICE examination & result . Instruction issued to circles by SNATTACHQ to provide the same order to circle office and to your Advocates for proper and timely reply to handle court cases.
MEETING WITH DIR HR REGARDING WAGE LOSS AND COURT CASE IN WEST BENGAL
1) Wage erosion of employees entering in the PSU on 01-01-2007 or thereafter:-
The Director (HR) was apprised of the meeting of 24th with the CMD. A letter of
NPCC Ltd. Dt.-03-06-2011 was also handed over to Director (HR) in which such
staff appointed on or after 01-01-2007 were also granted fitment by the said
PSU. The same procedure be adopted in BSNL.
Director (HR) indicated for formation of a committee to resolve the issue.
JTO/LICE held on 02-06-2013
(i) A detailed representation containing discrepancies in questions of various
circles were placed before him, who agreed to get the points examined.
(ii) Stay on declaration of result at Kolkata:- The Director (HR) was informed
about the “Stay”. He agreed to look into the matter union will persue the
matter further.
(iii) LICE for promotion to JTO Cadre in Karnataka:-The Director(HR) was
informed that due to “stay” LICE has not taken place. Union representative
urged for vacation of “Stay” and holding the examination.

14.06.2013: GoM discusses ways to revive BSNL and MTNL
The inter-ministerial group looking at reviving the state-run telecom operators met for the first time on Wednesday but could not reach any decision. The telecom department made a presentation to the group of ministers on refunding Rs 12,846 crore to BSNL and MTNL for surrender of BWA spectrum and made a case for sharing a large chunk of MTNL's Rs 7,500-crore pension liability to ease the telcos currently reeling under financial pressure...

12.06.2013: Meeting with CGM/WBTC held on 11th June 2013.
SNATTA/wb and NFTE leaders met CGM on 11th June 2013.
The discussions were as follows:
1. SNATTA asked for provision of service mobile connections for some SSA is yet to give and the proposal are send to circle for approval. GM(HR) replied that, the proposal not approved due to proposal send is not at per with circular. He said to pursue for rectify and send from SSA to circle, then it will be approved soon.
2. Discussion made about the further court case filed by off. JTOs, SNATTA urged to CGM to defend the case so that results may be declared. We are informed that administration is committed to defend and necessary action will be taken for publish the result.

Direct Recruit TTA. Time has come to just put down your head and think about
the future of DRTTAs, because this wage loss is forever. So friends please give
priority of SNATTA and don’t get misguided by the FORUM Leadership. Now the
forum leaders started telling that due to court case filed by SNATTA, the
process of wage reduction has been stopped. This is totally a blind lie. Now we
have to fight tooth and nail to extract our legal due that is 30% fitment.

07.06.2013: Core Committee meeting of SNATTA/wb was held on 06.06.2013.
The following decision was taken:
1. After JTO-LICE, found litigation/Hurdles is being raised by our against part. also 30% fitment case pending and some other cases are pending at various CAT. To prepare ourselves ready to fight
to save our demands or justice, requirement of sufficient fund is very urgent in our circle account as some cases filled by our enemies may be fought in West Bengal CAT, it is decided to collect 300 (the residual part of 300) per member + a some of donation Rs. 700 /per members who have appeared in JTO-LICE.
2. Within next 15 days Circle executive committee members will visit the SSA body and discuss/mobilize/clarify our issues with all the members so that our unity may be tighten. And all SSA office bearers are requested to arrange meeting within next 15 days and intimate our circle body so that our circle members may attend the meeting.

03.06.2013: Exciting News about 30% fitment court case. The certified copy from the honorable CAT, Chandigarh issued today in favor of TTAs.
CAT Chandigarh issued the certified copy of the order about 30% fitment.
The main detail are as-
The O.A. shall stand disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority (BSNL) to take a decision on the Annexures A-6 & A-7 within three months from today (ie. 08-05-2013)
**The Annexures A-6 & A7 are the detailed representations submitted by SNATTA justifying its demand for 30% Fitment as well as the steady loss in salary and EPF contribution along with other details.
**It is worthwhile to mention that the certified true copy was issued by Deputy Registrar, CAT Chandigarh on dated 29th May 2013 only due to administrative red tape.

3.06.2013: All ESM candidates of West Bengal Circle was appeared in JTO-LICE on 02.06.2013 as per Court verdict. The case was filled by SNATTA. And it was mandatory for them to be a member of SNATTA and a certificate from CC SNATTA/WB was required for appearing in JTO-LICE.
So all the Dr. TTAs are again requested to participate in full in any activities of SNATTA to save their identity and interest.

03.06.2013- LTO-LICE completed peacefully. A meeting was arranged at CTTC, Telecom Recreation Club about 02:00 PM on 02.06.2013. Almost all the members of SNATTA who have appeared in LTO-LICE gathered fully. The hall was of full crowd. All the TTAs present in the meeting claps on completion of JTO-LICE. The photos and the details will be uploaded later.

when other Circles have gathered sufficient amount of Fund but we cant why....? freinds.. when fund required we office bearers have to ask you several times for fund... why...? why the office bearers need to do that? if snatta do someting, you will get benefit equaly but you wont ready to send fund and irresponsive.....its nothing but loss of your morale....some peoples are giving repeatedly and some are silent and cleverly saving the amount .. how is it possible....? how can you do that...?

If British Telecom could be turned around by hiving off its operations into separate entities, the same can be achieved with BSNL and MTNL.
Revitalising the two state-run telecom behemoths, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), has become a priority for the government, with both firms posting losses for six consecutive years.
As per unaudited figures, BSNL posted a loss of Rs 8,198 crore in 2012-13, while MTNL recorded a loss of Rs 3,300 crore.
The Group of Ministers (GoM) concerned is expected to meet to discuss a trifurcation of the firms. However, what’s required is a streamlining of operations and greater independence.

In a pro-active gesture to yatris undertaking the annual pilgrimage to the sacred shrine of Amarnath, BSNL will issue special pre-paid SIM cards to keep them connected throughout.
At present, prepaid connections from States other than Jammu & Kashmir do not work, as per guidelines of the Department of Telecommunications. Yatris having post-paid SIMs can be connected through the roaming network, BSNL officials said at a review meeting held by the Union Minister of ICT Killi Kruparani. The Minister asked the Government undertaking in the J&K circle to complete all works related to the Amarnath yatra before June.

NEW DELHI: State-owned telecom operator BSNL is expected to announce lower losses, at Rs 8,198 crore, for 2012-13 fiscal.
In 2011-12, it had reported losses of Rs 8,851 crore. "As per unaudited figures, BSNL loss stands at Rs 8,198 crore. It will be audited and then the final numbers will be released," said an official.
he figure does not include around Rs 2,700 crore which the company has to get from the government for supporting rural landline operations.
The company registered losses of Rs 8,850.70 crore during 2011-12 due to regulatory expenses and non-receipt of funds for its rural landlines operations. It stated the impact to be about Rs 3,100 crore.
BSNL has been logging losses since 2009-10. The company's profits had started declining after 2004-05, when it had made net gains of Rs 10,183 crore.
During 2010--11, BSNL losses had risen to Rs 6,384 crore mainly due to hefty outgo on salaries and expenses borne by the PSU for procuring 3G and BWA spectrum.

"The meeting is scheduled for May 10. The GoM will decide on the future of BSNL and MTNL. Its recommendations will go to the Cabinet for the final decision," a government official told PTI. The GoM is headed by Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

Singh GS/NFTE and discussed about all our agenda and future plans. specially we urged for immeidiate settlement of wage erosion case and also we thank him for their entire effort to run JTO LICE.. lastly he assured us to move the case of wage erosion case with top priority after formation of Council..

02-05-2013: Regarding JTO LICE....................
it is understood that a group discussion among the Candidates will be arranged on 17 th & 18 th may at CTTC saltlake.....every candidate may join group discussion........it may be helpfull to them.

01-05-2013: Meeting with CGMT WB......................
SNATTA WB PRESIDENT Sri Jagadish Paul, CS NFTE com Chitra basu and other leaders met CGMT WB regarding JTO LICE. we have urged CGMT to make the question easy so that maximum candidate get chance to be JTO as there is hard crisis of JTO at this moment. also we have requested to issue model question paper and provide Training on the type of question for JTO LICE. CGMT assures all sort of co-opeartion also assures to arrange so that maximum can be JTO.
Regarding training matter , more tan two weeks ago we were offered to arrange candidate for training. regarding this we from our Circle also issued notification to all DSs. its nothing new for us. we have also here to mention that we have issued several letter to CGMT WB.
Lastly we are to say very broadmindedly tell that if any trade union can make good for us we shall thank them whole heartedly...
but some foolish freinds yet to know that the trade unions are now giving due importance for the TTAs due to existance of SNATTA and if SNATTA lost its existance in any day then thsese selfish candidate will feel the need of snatta , they will also also they very selfish way taking their cost by selling their own.

01-05-2013: Meeting with DIR (HR), corporate office........................regarding JTO LICE
GS SNATTA Com. Pawan Meena alongwith NFTE President Com. Islam Ahmed met with Director (HR) on dated 29.04.2013 to discuss the various JTO LICE issues including (1) Model question papers (2) Training/Coaching for S/C S/T staff (3) No negative marking.
Com. Chandeshwar Singh GS NFTE wrote the letter on the above issues.

BUILDING
Dear calleages,
First of
all congratulation to all of you and your SSA members for your united effort to
abide by the CHQ decision and voting our alliance partner in maximum way. This
is the first time we are going to be the part of the councils at all level.
BSNL needs these youngers participation to save
BSNL because in maximum cases the Trade unions are more categorical to
save their shape of politics than BSNL. Hence we the TTAs who have to go long
run in this organization need to be a part of Councils.
To
concrete this objective , we have to be more united and our members should more
aggressive to save our interest.
In our
Circle we have taken so many steps to
make it a tightened unity. Friends only one or Two SSA was authenticated by CHQ
only. Now maximum SSAs Body are approved by CHQ. . The rest part where the SSA
Body not formed we from now shall have to try to form SSA body of that SSA.

we have adopted rules to run our Circle very smoothly. This need arised as
there was no clear constitution of SNATTA CHQ and hence we just adds some rules
in addition to CHQ guidelines. . it is also very flexible in nature and any
time it may ammended as and when need arised.
We shall request all Circle and Divisional office bearer to read the
rules and accomplish your part.
We have
decided to fill up the hard copy of form
by all SSA members and scanned or Xerox copy should be sent to Circle for
information. Some SSA yet not done . we expect it will be done very soon. It is
highly needed to assure our regular collection.
Friends
you know an association cant run without fund. It is very humiliating for the
office bearer responsible to collect fund that when fund required , repeated
intimation required to collect fund. We have to avoid such situation. We have collect fund regularly and send fund
immediately after notification. To make
the fund management very transparent, we have taken decision through the rule
that after every financial year completetion , a balance sheet after audit by
comptetnt authority as prescribedin rule wilol be published.. Krishnagar SSA in
this case are very nicely prepared their balance sheet . all SSA office bearer
are also requestd to prepare balance sheet at their level. To make accounts
transparent to members.
Friends next
three year is very crucial for BSNL as well as DRTTAs because any thing may be
happened as the graph of BSNL shows bad sign to us. Hence we have to fight for
our career as well as our BSNL.
Friends
only those(although very few)will be responsible for our calamity who are still
not with us and securing their selfishness. How ever we being an open minded
association will approach to them to come with us and join our hands.

Decisions:
1) membership from any trade union otherthan NFTE is to be withdrawn before getting membership in LCM and RCM.
2) monthly subscription is kept same as previous Rs 30/- P/M/ break up is same as it was.
3) for immeidiate fund Rs. 300/- the previously declared amount is to be collected in SSAs where this collection was not made till now.
4) Due to technical problem balance sheet of previous year could not be done. but it is instructed to treasurer to publish it within a week.
5)Superannuatiion benefit issue is to be raised.
6) persuance of JTO LICE model question
7) wage revision issue to be sorted out immediately.
8) persue for GSM connection to TTAs also.

BSNLEU = 99,380 (48.60%).
NFTE = 61,915 (30.28%).
FNTO = 14,088 (6.89%).
no single union got more than 50 percent.. hence proportionate reperesentation at all level will be at Councils....
